As I was out driving today I noticed a lot of mini-vans. Not as many station wagons these days but a lot of mini-vans. Which is a good thing for an insurance budget.

What does an insurance friendly vehicle mean? Well, simply put it is a vehicle that gets you cheap auto insurance. Station wagons and vans are the best choices to get cheap auto insurance because they are not to big to cause large amounts of damage to the other car but big enough to cause less damage to their own passengers and, in addition, both have lower repair costs and less theft history.

So if you have been holding off on getting that mini-van for any reason, (even if it is just because you said you would never be caught in a mini-van) maybe getting cheaper auto insurance will persuade you!

I fell for this exactly as you explained; I told myself I’d never be seen driving a minivan but sure enough here I am driving one.
