Spring Cleaning...

Sunday May 7, 2006
I am ready to start getting my house in order. Lately I have been thinking about my to do list: Organizing the closets, Washing all the drapes, Cleaning out the basement...the list seems to go on and on.

I have found the best way to tackle all those spring cleaning ideas is to prioritize. So I make a list of the most important things to do and tackle them first and sometimes the little things just have to wait until summer.

When making my list, I try to think of all aspects of spring cleaning. I realized I needed to include other things in my spring cleaning list..such as home hazards and finances.

Cleaning my home up against accidents is an important spring cleaning step for me. Sometimes we forget the important step of a yearly Home Hazard Cleaning.

Next on my list, I try to review my finances. Keeping my finances in order should be a monthly thing...in a perfect world. But, that doesn't happen for me so I need to take an afternoon to review some financial issues that may need to be changed such as Balancing my Monthly Budget.

Of course I am on top of always making sure I am getting the most out of my insurance, but if I was not one who regularly thinks about insurance I would also be reviewing my Health Insurance Expenses and any Auto Insurance Discounts I may be missing out on.
