Wondering why we can’t have something like an “opt out” card for people who want to refuse governmental insurance plans and it would state on the card refusal as such and might have a line for plan for medical payments for example. Surely somebody has thought of this, I’m tired of people complaining that their government wants to help them.

Help!! Why is it so easy to sign up for any healthcare plan but nearly impossible to cancel one? I have tried to write to call (always busy) and talk to somebody from Blue Cross Blue Shield but so far I have been unable to find a website or a person I can talk to and tell them I want to cancel my BlueCross Blue Shield insiurance?

This is open season for most insurance plans. You should be able to cancel, renew, etc. during this time. Blue Cross Fed government’s deadline is 10 Dec 2012.
