Yesterday one version of a health care reform bill was passed. A main idea in this version is mandated health insurance. Sometimes the democrats and Obama would launder the term by calling it "shared responsibility" but what they mean is that everyone would be required to have health insurance or pay a fine.

A health care reform bill that requires all citizens to purchase health insurance may get a lot of Americans tense but they do plan to give subsidies to lower income individuals and families to help them afford the mandated health insurance.

What do you think about this Bobbie? I think this is not freedom.

@Mike–
To quote Mr. Spock: “The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.” Those who refuse to get health insurance inevitably raise the cost of medical care for those who do have health insurance.

Collectivization, government mandate, gun to head, do it or else. Pay one way or the other. You will pay, we say so.
