The Paperless Insurance Office

Tuesday July 14, 2009
With all the talk about health care reform, taking some pointers from this insurance office would reduce costs dramatically for all insurance companies.

According to www.approvedbusiness.co.uk, "Ferndown based commercial insurance specialist Aspire Insurance, have realised an unusual green policy by having zero paper in their office. Managing Director Tristan Webb made the green pledge to go paperless when he started the business after having worked previously for many big Dorset companies and finding his desk was constantly awash with paperwork.

Tristan wanted his business to be unique and so the paperless policy made perfect sense from a green and financial point of view. Documents are e-mailed instead of being posted which not only eliminates postal delays and losses, but also that customers usually have their policy documents within 24 hours.

Modern technology has allowed this business to commit itself to preserving the environment, which is something all businesses can think more about as this is one paper cut that does not hurt."
