President Obama is Coming to Elkhart, IN but the Uninsured Don't Have to Wait for Free Health Care

President Obama has plans to come here, Elkhart, Indiana, my hometown, to promote his economic stimulus plan. Elkhart, Indiana is his first stop because our unemployment rate is currently the highest in the nation, just over 15%. That means a lot of people have lost their health insurance. There are ways to find affordable health insurance but sometimes, with no money, people need free health insurance. The government can help.

The Health Resources and Services Administration have federally funded health care centers for people who have no health insurance. By going to their website at www.findahealthcenter.hrsa.gov you can search for a federally funded health care center near you. Thankfully, we do have one here in Elkhart, IN and others available in nearby cities.
