Flat Tire... Did You Purchase Roadside Service?

Most all insurance companies provide an optional coverage of roadside assistance. These plans are very handy and I certainly have used mine a time or two.

Insurance roadside service plans can really help you out with your winter driving. Say you lock your keys in your vehicle and you are a few hundred miles away from home. Well, those of you with the Onstar feature have the ability to get help, but what about the majority of drivers on the road? If you purchased your insurance company's roadside assistance plan, you can call their number and they can send help... and you will get reimbursed for the service. Something that easy can really make the difference in your day and your plans!

I think that rental car reimbursement and roadside assistance coverage are the two most-overlooked coverage options, although it pays to CAREFULLY read the terms and conditions.

Also, AAA members may not need the roadside assistance coverage, either.

No need to pay for an auto club when you can simply call 1-800-PITCREW from anywhere in the USA.
