In the wake of bank bailouts and talk of millions in bonuses to financial executives, it is good to see a financial company taking steps on their own towards a more efficient way to do business. According to www.marketwatch.com, "For State Compensation Insurance Fund, garbage once destined for landfills now comprises more than 20 percent of the building materials used in its new green campus in Vacaville, Calif." In addition, they are also using "Energy efficient light fixtures and lamps throughout 80 percent of the campus, as well as energy efficient HVAC and electrical equipment" along with "server virtualization technology in the data center that reduces the number of servers."
