Putting Off that Life or Health Insurance Policy? Be Ready to Pay More.
Tuesday May 13, 2008
I found a story recently about a town in Iowa that is considering buying earthquake insurance after there were a couple of earthquake tremors from nearby areas. Unfortunately, their insurance coverage will probably be more now that there were recent tremors nearby.
So, what can you learn from this? Don't wait until there are problems before looking into insurance, as it may cost you. For example, will you decide to buy life or health insurance after you have a medical scare? Then be prepared to pay more. But, if you choose those things now you will pay a lower premium since you don't have a history of health problems.
