Did Someone Really Get Quoted a $104,000 Car Insurance Premium?

And you thought you had high car insurance! Yes, someone really did get a $104,000 quoted car insurance premium and although they had a really bad driving record, like anyone, they first thought it was a mistake.

According to www.canada.com "Barbara Wellensiek knew her son's insurance premium would be steep because of his less-than-stellar driving record, but she never expected it would be $104,566.63 when the renewal notice came in."

OK, so maybe your getting a little worried about your teen's insurance? Of course a premium that high is rare, but a teen's insurance does start out high and can get high quickly if your teen starts getting tickets or into accidents. Prepare your teen for this possibly before they get behind the wheel... even preparing them a couple of years before driving is a good idea.
