This is a great discount. Travelers auto insurance company now offers a 10% discount in 44 states for hybrid cars. According to www.hybridtravelers.com, the main reason for the discount is that “preliminary research indicates that hybrid owners tend to fall into the preferred insured category, and at Travelers, lower risk drivers are rewarded with lower premiums."
