Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton Promotes Health Care Record

According to The New York Times, Senator Clinton is promoting her health care record in advertisements in Iowa and New Hampshire. The advertisements promote her message through the voice of a male claiming, "Hillary stood up for universal health care when almost no one else would, and kept standing until six million kids had coverage. She stood by ground zero workers who sacrificed their health after so many sacrificed their lives, and kept standing until this administration took action. She stood by our National Guard and Reserve, and kept standing until they received health care they deserved. So now that almost every candidate is standing up for health care for all, which one do you think will never back down?” Mrs. Clinton says, “I’m Hillary Clinton, and I approve this message.”

Regardless of who you feel has done the most with health care progress, the fact still remains that too many Americans are not insured or substantially under insured. This is a problem that all potential leaders will be addressing so now is the time to get educated on what they will be talking about. A big issue that will be talked about is Universal Health Care for the U.S. Republicans will try to push more people to focus on Health Savings Accounts and other related ways for the U.S. government not to oversee the health insurance industry for the U.S.
