Massachusetts Finalizes Costs for Mandatory Health Insurance

Friday March 9, 2007
If you don't already know, the state of Massachusetts is the first state to require its residents to have health insurance. The state has chosen seven different health insurance companies to offer 28 different insurance plans. The costs have been set by the state at $122.00 to $800.00 per month. They are offering financial help to people that are below 300% of the federal poverty level.

This is an important event for everyone in the U.S. because it will be a guide for America possibly implementing a national health care plan. Massachusetts will be a model for us all to determine if we are interested in a universal health care plan. You can learn more about universal health care for America at Getting the U.S. United on Health Care - A National Health Care Plan.

We all know that the health care costs have esculated well above what the average american worker can afford. Is that problem going to end with mandatory health care coverage??? HELL NO it will only mean that the astronomical cost of insurance will go up.
In recent years insurance companies have proven to be the worst investment any one person could make to insure good health.
Hillary just made this point and then applauded the mandate of Mass. now that is just plain STUPID STUPID!!!!!!

I know people who are going to MOVE OUT OF MA simply because they can’t afford health insurance. They are living month-to-month as it is, ut are a little above what’s considered the “poverty line.” The only insurance they could afford has so many leaks in it, they really won’t be covered for anything. We all know how insurance companies DENY INSURANCE when you really need it.

Mandatory health insurance is nothing more than EXTORTION by the Government, a/k/a MA MAFIA. “Pay up and we won’t break your leg. We break your leg, too bad, it’s not covered.”
