I have been having problems with my laptop for the last few weeks. Well, it's actually the wireless connection. I can't get it to pick up the signal from my router. It worked for a while but now I think it just gave up. So..I'm stuck to my computer desk for now.
Unfortunately, no laptop insurance will cover my problem. But, if I find out it is a defective part I might be in luck!
There are a few different ways to cover your computer or laptop: Manufactures Warranties, Extended Warranties, Home Owners Insurance, and Specialized Laptop and Computer Insurance. The all do have their limits and exclusions including intentional damage (like throwing my laptop across the room!).
