Keep Your Insurance Information Current

Saturday June 3, 2006
Most people don't think much about insurance until they need to use it. But, if you got around to using it, what if your insurance did not provide enough coverage? That can happen if once in a while you don't take the time to keep your insurance current.

To keep your insurance current, review your policies at least yearly. Things that most people often forget to tell their insurance agent in home insurance is home renovations. This is important because if you don't raise your home owners insurance coverage then if you have to file a claim, you may be under insured. With your auto insurance, you will want to keep your insurance agent up to date on any job changes you have had (your commute mileage is an important aspect of your insurance coverage) and if you have any additional items installed in your vehicle you may want insured such as a dvd player.
