Term life insurance premiums are generally much cheaper than cash-value policies (universal and whole), especially if you are young and in good health and a low cost term life insurance policy does exactly what you expect it to do by covering your beneficiaries if you die.
Good advice, Bobbie. I don’t think most consumers understand that term insurance premiums increase dramatically as they age. Once the level term premium is over,the rates will rise.
