Choosing the Right Pet Insurance

Have you insured you pet yet? Unlike auto or home insurance, the choices for pet insurance companies are still small. There are a handful of large and still growing companies that have set the stage for other insurance companies. I have done some of the research for you and compiled information on five prominent pet insurance companies: Healthy Pet Insurance, ShelterCare, PetCare, PetsHealth, and Veterinary Pet Insurance.
If you have a pedigree cat or dog, consider cover that pays out for the life of a condition rather than a fixed time limit such as 12 months. Statistically, here in the UK anyway, pedigree pets are more likely to develop long term illnesses.
